I had a great experience at Centro Selva because it made me think about art and nature in ways I never considered before. I developed a new body of work that relied on only the most basic elements of nature. . In essence, this residency introduced me to a more simplified way of working, living, and making art. For that I am very grateful. It is a hearty residency for those artists who are looking to expand on their composure, process, and practice.
